About Us

How it started... 2012

I never dreamed of starting a juice business. And I never dreamed of being an entrepreneur. Rewind back to the year 2012 when next to no one drank green juice. Like no one. The entire idea was ridiculous. Except it wasn’t! My neighbor Elizabeth and I often talked about how we weren’t really feeling our best. We both had three young children at home, were working, were not eating the best foods, and were staying up late to try and get everything done. It sort of felt like we were aging in dog years…no thanks! We started making juice every day and instantly noticed the difference. More energy, more positive outlook, we dropped the excess weight, we craved more fruits and vegetables and our skin had this magical glow! Juice worked like a charm!

We figured out really fast that making juice was one of the messiest and most time-consuming tasks we had ever done, so we worked out this master plan to take turns. I made juice for Elizabeth for a week, then she made juice for me the next week. I freaking LOVED when it was Elizabeth’s turn because organic juice magically showed up at my doorstep!

Around that same time my friend Mollie asked me if I would make juice for her for a week so she could try it. The next week she sent five customers my way, then 10 more and when we looked up had 80 weekly customers!!! The Weekly Juicery was going before we even knew what was happening! We had three rules way back then:

1)  We use 100% organic produce. No exceptions.

2)  We made vegetable-centric juices. Many of our recipes have zero fruit.

3)  We focussed on teaching our customers the “why” behind drinking our juices.

How it’s going…2022

As of today we’ve made well over one million organic juices, and have helped thousands of people change the trajectory of their health and wellbeing. We ship juices to doorsteps all over the country each week, and we teach people the power of adding organic juice to their health routine.

We have developed programs to help people begin on their juice journey and programs to help people begin on a path of integrative and holistic wellness. We have a membership program called The Juice Ritual and host a community one-day fast each month. We work with integrative doctors and other healers to put our juices into their programs and practices.

Organic juice is the gateway that opens up the amazing possibilities of integrative healing, and we’re lighting that path for more and more people each year. We still have our lovely little retail juice shop on Old Vine Street with the official Weekly Juicery headquarters upstairs. It’s the most beautiful space that my friends and customers visit often. It’s been an unbelievable 10 years, and I can’t wait for the rest of the story to unfold.
